4gb RAM (2x2gb)
ATI Radeon HD 3850 (Im going to get a second one just like that one)

Specs on the Mac Book I'm looking at (I'm waiting on Macworld though)

Processor: 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4MB shared L2 cache
Memory: 2GB (2x1GB SODIMMs) RAM
Hard Drive: 120GB Serial ATA 5400rpm
Optical Drive: 8x double-layer SuperDrive (DVD+R DL/DVDRW/CD-RW)
Graphics: Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor with 144MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory
Wireless: Built-in 54 Mbps AirPort Extreme (802.11n)

Price: $1,399 w/ 3 year AppleCare protection plan

IMO, its a hell of a deal from my school... its only really lacking a good video card but I dont plan on doing much gaming on it

Well, the event has happened and there is a new MacBook. A little higher than you were thinking, and a little slower, but it fits in an envelope!!!

I may get one myself :perk:

Haha yeah I took a look at it when I got home, but I'm gonna stick with my school's deal. It's cool and all but I don't think I need to put my laptop in any manilla folders anytime soon.

Kak Dela Aziz?

holy cow aziz and haven!!?! this is crazy! Aziz I havent seen ya on AIM in awhile, get on or vent or something. This computer you made better have sex with you, took you forever to make it! were you making the case out of titanium or something? School still going well? still with Gaara's sister?

I plan on playing css more in the future, i just need to boot into windows first to do it.

Hmm the Macbook Air, I think its cool and all, just not for everyone. I personally wouldnt buy one unless i REALLY needed a small laptop. Maybe it is good for someone to take to class and what not.... who knows.

and DAMN IT i wanted new monitors!

Yes the Air seems like a good concept however, paying more for it because it's thinner...?

I was also hoping they would lower the price and release a 40GB Touch.

Two things to keep in mind for the Air and the higher price.

One is this...

the other I can't find the picture of, is the motherboard. They cram EVERYTHING onto a mobo the length of a pencil and as wide as a deck of cards. That kind of new tech is not even close to cheap i'm sure.

It's by no means for everyone, but god damn I would have LOVED to have this thing in college.

Haha... Gaara's sister.... :20:

My case is actually made out of granite and it bbqz hamburgers for me... as for sex - well, i got Shadow for that, who i havent gave much lately, as i was gone for a while... im sure hes horny by now. In all seriousness though, im excited as hell for my new computer! I played CS a little last night (i sucked by the way - i jumped at every sound :20: :20: ) and i had over 100fps and 10 lag.... remember the old days? 9 fps and 90 lag?? The tables have turned

I will be playing more often as well - considering i can at least move around the map, without lag-jumping from wall to wall! Obviously, i wont be able to stay up till 5am with that redneck, Billy, cuz i got school and work.

Anyway, its sick to see some of the old timers still kickin, so i will be talkin to all of you very soon.

Well yesterday I decided to give the Gateway 2400 (TN Panel) monitor a try. I had a 12% off coupon so I pulled the trigger. After setting it up I realized that coming from a higher quality S-IPS monitor I can tell the difference right away.

this monitor will be going back later tonight/tomorrow.

As soon as I receive my 15% off coupon from ebay I will be ordering the new Dell 2408.

You're right! Who wants to pay more for a laptop that fits into a manila envelope when you can carry something like this around?
