so i double-click my steam icon and it goes striaght ot the put my password screen...never done it be fore but whatever...
i put my password in and it says can't connect....might be an error with my internet connection or a steam issue ..plz visit steampowered.com for assistance..?

anyone have this happen today and or anyone know how i fix this?

Same thing happened to me just now.. the weird thing is that it connects just fine on my dad's computer :\

On mine it was telling me that i can't connect after i put my pass in, so i deleted the clientregistry.blob file, but then it told me no Content Servers online, so i couldn't redownload it.. not it tells me can't connect try again later...

Since its not just me, i guess its a Steam Problem, so it'll get fixed eventually...

Edit: removed an extra t... :)

Seems good now, I managed to connect now... Looks like they fixed it..

This happened to me as well, it was most likely a temporary content server issue that is now fixed.
