Your reading this cause your rates were to out of sync for our server creating horrible game play for others even worse yourself.
If you were not doing this purposely here is a learning guide for you.

Rates are your systems communication to the server.

Boss Community recommended rates.
rates 15000-25000
cl_cmdrate 66-100
cl_updaterate 66-100

In order to change these you must fallow this
Main Screen > Options > Keyboard > Advance (button at bottom) > Tick "Enable Developer Console" (~)
To access console default key is ~ (located in the upper left hand corner of a standard keyboard)

It would be nice if admins could send this post as a pop-up ingame, MOTD style. Then they can't ignore it!

The commands control how much and how fast data is sent back and forth between the server and your computer. The 'general' most-used and optimized value for the rate command is between 10000 and 30000, usually set at 10000, 20000, 25000, or 30000. The cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate commands are usually set, as a minimum, to the server's tickrate, in this case 66. The server does 66 'ticks' per second, so having updaterate and cmdrate at 66 as well keeps you and the server more in-sync. Anything higher than that is fine, because the tickrate is 66, you won't notice much of a difference.
