From all the problems I have been reading about your rig, I would just sell that sh*t, and start from the bottom.

Seriously Suh, get a job, save some cash, and make a new computer. At this point with all these issues you've had, you're at the point where you're trying to bail out the water on a sunken ship.

And why the hell would you download SP3 from a non-microsoft site? That's just asking for a virus.

I have a job and money... I just don't want to buy another comp cuz I'm going to college soon and just waiting till that summer

btw i was able to find out that it is most likely a registry problem which is causing this reboot cycle...

now i gotta find out if i can do a system restore... if not then reformat

Step 2: Slowly back away from the computer

How the hell is Soft32 shady, it's a big download site and no more shadier than Tucows, FileHippo, etc..

i dont know, just because if you had the choice of waiting for the official release from microsoft....
They say maybe a slight performance boost with word and some security features, is it something most of us can't wait for.

True, but why would you ever want to download an OFFICIAL MICROSOFT Service Pack off of Soft32 when you could quite simply get it from Microsoft's site. I believe that's what he's saying, Chris.
