Followed instructions to get on the Boss Vent server and when I hit connect I get sort of a tone and a countdown timer where the connect button was. Nothing appears in the white box. Every time the countdown timer gets to 0 I hear the f*cking tone again..... it's messing with my mind..... please help.

Your firewall / router is setup wrong, thus you fail at the internets.
