I recently bought valid kaspersky internet security keys for 3 users. They work on my dad's PC and laptop but not on mine. It says I have to remove AVG 8, which i already did months ago. I deleted all the files already and searched again to find nothing. I install AVG 8 again and uninstall it from add/remove programs, deleted the empty and remaining files and still kaspersky won't let me proceed. Please help.

Download CCleaner, check for old files AVG has and uninstall them.

I've had CCleaner for awhile and I agree its kickass but its not fixing my the problem. I fixed all the registry issues and Kaspersky is still detecting AVG 8.

Then go through the registry manually, destroy any and all forms of AVG from the registry.
