My computer is pissing me off. I cant run vent and cs source at the same time. It makes me sound like a f*cking F15 eagle on takeoff... Ive tried 3 different sound cards, 2 different head sets and uninstalled and reinstalled and not one thing has worked. Each work by their self but vent and cs source hates each other. what the hell could be causing the horrid sound?

I sort of had this problem, but I can't remember how I fixed it.

Make sure your sound card drivers are up to date, and get another codec. When you start up Source (with Vent running), check the console right as your join a server. It should list all the errors, and the mic one should be there.

Im running XP and i got it to work today somehow. I gota like enter CS and then exit, load vent, then re-enter CS... its wierd and it dont work all the time.
