Hello everyone, I am trying to load up CSS on my computer b/c i have the random urge to play it for the first time in a year. I installed it and all that bullsh*t, but now steam is trying to update the game. It will go at 1mb/sec for like 5 mins, then die at a random percentage (most I got 16%). When I restart steam, it resets to 0% then downloads it over again until it dies off. Anyone else having problems with this? I even deleted my .blob with no success

I've had that problem before and it turned out to be a firewall issue so I'd look into that.

well i've been unplugging and plugging in my Ethernet cable which seems to make the download start up again for about 6-8%, then i dies. I've made it to 78% so i might as well finish

im getting left 4 dead for christmas, I better not have to deal with this bullsh*t

ideas anyone? -its not my firewall, i have it as trusted and even turned the firewall off

Well it could either be your fire wall or just your internet going through lasps that cause it to stop, but if you download L4d from cd i dont think you should have an issue.
