AFAIK, you can do it in any state, as long as you have a parent come in with you and be there at the time your getting it. Just call ahead and ask, most tattoo parlors will give you your answer.

All 50 states is legal to get tattoos last I checked last year for a friend, but obviously laws change very quickly, but alot have restrictions on where it can be placed, age, type, etc. Also there is age restrictions in certain states, most are 18 and older, like I said, call ahead, alot of cities within a state have different laws and ordinances regarding this.

Just remember that there may be more limitations on top of what is listed there.

Oh I didn't mean tattooing in general, I was talking about tattooing someone under the age of 18 so that's what I thought you were talking about. I know its not legal to tattoo minors in every state even with consent. I have cousins in North Carolina and I know its illegal there at the very least.

Also, every tattoo place I've gone to down in florida has made me get a paper signed and notarized by a parent prior to having it done. Make sure to find a place and check it out early to see if that's required. Nothing sucks like having to post-pone a tattoo because you gotta get a paper filled out
