Wow im not sure if I'm happy to say this but I've been playin cs since 99'. I beleive I started with betta 2.0, that was when there where only 10-12 guns, 5 maps, and only 4 total player models, deff old school. A lot of changes since the good old days of cs but i still love the game. So how long have my fellow BoSS members been with cs?

Little under 5 years.. Started playing when I got the HL2 game of the year cd which came with CSS.

3 years, but i remember when the cs1.6 came out, i use to play it at my old friends house but wasnt into like now

Bought HL2 shortly after it came out in 2004 without any intention of getting into source but I got hooked quickly. It helps to find a good community with people ya know to play with, only reason I've really played as long as I have.

Been playin for a long, long time. Started playin in computer clubs, back in moscow ... then started play source, when it came out. The only reason i still play the game is cuz of BoSS...

a couple of days before i joined BoSS, so '05

Got the game cuz a friend had it (Ozzy), got told cs_office was best, randomly joined BoSS #1, played there for a few days straight....signed up, been here ever since, bar a few months.

I don't remember exactly what version but definitely before retail. I played the original team fortress and hl deathmatch for a while then downloaded this weird mod one day and I've been hooked on counter-strike ever since. I do remember the only maps really on rotation were italy, militia, nuke and cobble... and when Iceworld came out everyone went apesh*t over it.

I've been I've been playing CS since the initial beta, I stopped right after they brought the Steam network online. Came back for awhile then left again until a year or two ago.

As for FPS, I started in high school back when Quake DM started up, moved to Quake Threewave CTF, then to the Original Quake TF, not that shoddy half life remake.

I've always played Quake TF in fact I still play every now and then, but I have played a lot of different ones, Tribes, Quake 2, 3, RTCW, UT, UT 2000, UT 2003, pretty much any multiplayer FPS that comes out I try.

I remember playing the demo of wolfenstein on a packard bell 486sx with 2 megs of ram.
