I just ran a stress test on source before and after installing the 9.5 drivers coming from the 9.4's, my FPS with the older ones was 375FPS average +/-.

with the 9.5's installed I got 423 FPS, nice little increase, about the same as what going from WinXP to Win7 was, probably get around 480 now on Win7 7116 build

Then why post?

Ima go install these right now :D

Is it possible CS:S can limit performance? I have a very updated computer (built Christmas) and my FPS never goes above 60. It moves like it wants to, but it never goes beyond.

Yes, VSYNC, disable that shit, it basically makes it so your framerate can never go above your monitor's refresh rate (which is probably 60).

Also, open console and type fps_max 0 (no fps limit)

I have also noticed this gain on my machine as well, decent gain all over the board.

Even fixed a annoying multi-monitor issue on win 7. Randomly select a monitor as the primary. Was pissing me off to no end.
