The word is finally out. AMD will launch it�s much anticipated next generation graphics processors code name �Evergreen� on September 10th; ahead of Windows 7�s launch in late October..

Might as well grab all the GTX 2xx and the 48x0 while we can because there's barely any games that uses DirectX 10/10.1 :)

it isn't just DX11, the new AMD cards have an increased shader count among other things and are supposed to bring 30% performance gains over previous generation hardware, but we shall see.
