At a 1920 X 1080 resolution would the 1792mb version of the gtx 260/275 cards help in any way over the 896mb cards? And yeh.. good luck finding an ATI card.. they are allll gone.

yes more memory helps at higher resolutions but it depends on the game, as a sidenote Do not buy nvidia's last gen as they are not DX11, just wait til the 5000 series are in stock.

Believe me I want to wait but honestly there is nothing I play that could use dx 11. I think ill grab some inexpensive gtx 260's or 275's in sli for a while then after supply catches up sell them and get some ati cards, they run alot cooler than the 200 series does. The good thing Is that ive bought all of my hardware minus the cards. I wont be home for about another month but that will give me time to wait for some to be availible.
