Hello everyone! I just bought second BFG 8800GTX OC 768mb video card and I'm wondering, what power supply do i need for
two BFG 8800GTX OC...??? Right now I'm using 750W SLI Ready power supply, do you think it will work for two BFGs? The box says that one video card requires 475W.
Thank You!

Should be good if you're not running more than a couple of harddrives and a crap PSU

750watts should be plenty unless, like Sniprwulf said, you're running sh*tloads of HDDs or something.
If you're really concerned about it linky

Depending on the price paid for said 8800GTX, and if you are going to purchase the linked power supply at 170$, the total of the two exceeds what it would cost to purchase a single replacement card that is faster, runs cooler, and consumes less power than those cards :P

Well first BFG I bought for $489.99 = 12/17/2007, but the second BFG I bought on ebay for $80 = 11/09/2009... and here is
Link to my 750W Power Supply which I'll try to use for those two BFGs... I hope it will work!

If you cant find that psu in paticular you can always get this one.

Clicky

If you are not running a ton of sh*t in your pc then the 750 would be fine, but those gtx's suck up alot of power. If you got just one optical drive, 5 or so fans, and nothing much else youd be fine, especially with that psu or the corsair one i posted due to the 12 volt rails, just dont try to over clock.. cuase then ur pushing it.

Got plenty of room to work with, if I can run two 5870's, a core i5, 3 harddrives off the same power supply he has more than enough to work with.
