$260 for f*cking car tax!!! WTF!!!! That hit me like a ton of bricks when i got that in the mail, sad part thats after the car tax relief bull sh*t, i woulda had to pay $450 if not for it. f*ckING TAXES!

when we register a car in vt for the first time it is taxed. i payed 100 to register my 93 merc cougar. the renewal was 60 or so

Yah we pay taxes when we first get the car then you pay property tax on how ever many you got evvvvery year. I hate it..

That's lame. In IL there's no yearly tax on your vehicles, just the yearly registration renewal($99).
