Anyone happen to watch the first episode of this series on AMC? Its not bad, its not good, something to watch sunday nights.

It's good, but they just stole scenes from other zombie movies. Opening was from 28 days later.

The whole thing is based off of the comic that came out (In the US.) before 28 Days Later. Not to mention 28 Days later isn't a zombie movie. They die from normal wounds, run, and starve. They are just infected people.

Not to mention he openly admits that the old Romero films were his inspiration and refuses to read competing authors related works as to not spoil or taint the Walking Dead universe till he is done with the series.
