I would check to see if your school has a DC++ cliend set up. Also if u use iTunes and others do as well you can share music. If the music share is set up just download a java program called ourTunes and you can get it right from people on your network.

ive heard about an itunes that lets you take shared music, but i forget what it was called, it wasnt ourtunes though. i went to the site and didnt work with the latest virsion. does ourtunes work with the newest virsion? if so where do i get that from, cause theres a buttload of songs i could take from people by looking at shared music folders.

i downloaded that thing its like a radio but is ther a way to save the songs so i can put them on my ipod? anyways thanks i like this think plays a lot of good songs no commericials.

i downloaded ourtunes. it didnt work for me. couldnt find any files or hosts not sure why on itunes i found people sharing music. and that java enviroment thing is a pos. i uninstalled both i guess ill go out and buy some cds since nothing works to download.

Be very careful with DC++, i2hub, and internet2 sharing. I used it for a year and was caught and am now involved in a lawsuit with the RIAA. If you think you are invincible using it, you are not because they do monitor it.

i dont dl music but out of curiousity how did you get caught. i just do file sharing on aim, and mytunes redux to take peoples shared files on itunes. can i get caught for that?

I attend Indiana State in Terre Haute and friends and i here use Ares. This seems to be very efficient with the downloading process and we have had no problems with it yet. Limewire and WinMx for some reason don't work on the servers we have even though the firewall is turned off. Try it out if nothing else is working.

You are invincible with DC++ b/c of the disclaimers.. when you enter a hub it says that if you represent some kind of law agency or software company you must exit immediatly. They can have no case against anyone.

if u worried about the whole FCC FBI sh*t then download Peer Guardian it blocks all organizations like, DefJam Records, FBI, CIA, FCC, ect. its really funny, it blocks "The Bill Gates Corp."
