also it reminds me slightly Mac OS. :)
Of course it does. Apple is stealing Microsoft's thunder, and Microsoft is pissed. Vista will include now "mini-apps" called "Gadgets" that range from sticky notes to alarm clocks.
Hmm...OS X "Widgets" and Vista "Gadgets"
I'll be getting the Ultimate version when I get a comp with a dual-core processor or GeForce 7800 Graphics Card.

I use Mac OS X as well. Also, don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say it looked like OS X, I said it will have features similar to those of OS X. Also, "Stealing his Thunder" is an expression of speech, meaning, Apple is stealing Microsoft's customers/popularity because of OS X's improved features.

as far as i know, stealing ones thunder has nothing to do with stealing customer base...maybe you should state that somewhere
The figure of speech I used applies here. IN Windows XP, you can't just track flights without installing and opening up a big program. In OS X 10.4, you can. Customers a attracted to this. More customers switch to OS X. Windows XP becomes more un-popular. Apple has therefore stolen Microsoft's thunder.
