Well im almost in awe because the last time I used linux was system that I had Redhat 5.2 running on. Things have come such a long way since that faithful distro.
And I could not agree more, Slackware truely is t3h sh*t !!!!!!

If I learned one thing though, never use a x.0 release of any *nix, usually have some serious bugs.... So if anything I'd of waited for a x.1 or a x.2 release before using it, but at this time, ive got slackware loaded on just because I must watch the f*ckin windows crap, So I backup the HD, and Restore it through slack, unfortunate that windows doesnt know crap about nix, and vice versa, so i added it with an external usb 2.0 HD just to be good....
soon enough Ill just use a dvd to do it.... and that should work good.... But i dunno, duel boot is always a good thing.... heck I used to have redhat, fedora core 2, and suse loaded at same time... was fun.

I just got Ubuntu linux running (debian flavour). It is pretty sweet.
Anyways, I found a program called cedega, that runs windows programs
under linux.... like wine... nothing new.
But Cedega supports D3D and all that Jazz for games. I have steam running now,
and I can't wait to see if CS loads up properly. With firefox and CS:S
on my linux box, I have no good reason to boot windows again.
Hopefully I can get Photoshop working.

Linux? How can you stand using something so horribly designed?
And you'll be back. They all come back to Windows after the novelty wears off.
