Ok so heres the deal on the servers:

Me and Shadow have been talking and heres what we have come up with. Sounds like a dedicated box is the prefered way to go. This way we can pretty much do whatever the f*ck we want run 2 CSS servers and have enough juice to run another CSS server or ??? This will also be much more expensive causing us to wait a bit and everyone to probably have to throw in a few more bucks to the pot to get us back up. This way whatever host we choose pretty much can't f*ck with us at all. I'll also have to be more of a Nazi about admin dues and whatnot which I really don't want to do.

The second choice is to throw up some cheap(er) servers which we can probably get up and running real quick-like. There won't be a guarentee that the host won't try and f*ck us as hosts would rather not us have 2 full servers. (hosts would rather sell you a server that hardly gets used obviously) One 24/7 Office and one Gun Game server of course. Then add a third later if need be. There also won't be a guarentee that these servers run flawlessly. Although no matter who we go with, we'll do adequate research and try to mimimize the risk. I have found a descent host that has pretty damn good ping times though.

The third is to throw up some servers, get a bit more money in the pot and try and go the dedicated route down the road. I think that this is a good idea, however we'd have to change IPs again. If we did this we would be able to throw up something ahead of time and let our players know of the change.

I'd rather just get straight to the dedicated... even if it takes some time. Every ip change just causes problems and we might as well just get it over with.

well i voted #3 for the reason that we already lost most of our base in the last change and the only people who have been playing are the ppl who care enough to come to the website to see whats going on. I would like a dedicated box but i want to play on BoSS goddamnit ASAP so thats my opinion. if yall decide to wait then i geuss ill wait

There's thousand's of severs to play i'd rather wait thats me.I aslo think the less changes the better.Find a empty sever call it BoSS till we get a dedicated box.But however it works I'll be happy to help!!

i voted for the third option, same reasons as Billy. Also it will act as a trial run to see if enough people return to the server and if it would be worth getting a dedicated box down the line.

People will return. We have a pretty good/loyal core non BoSS member clientele. I'm not really too worried about the servers filling up.

I have a vision in which our Gun Game server will be one of the most popular Gun Game servers out there. I have no doubt that this will happen.

I'm kinda leanin towards the Dedicated Box myself the more I think about it.. The timeframe I'm thinkin is a week or two at MOST. Payin a few extra bux for a reliable solution with no BS is well worth it IMO.

This being said if we could get a few EXTRA donations in SOON, it would be great. If we can get half (more would be nice) of the cost paid for, I'll front the rest myself. After that we'll continue monthly as always.

That being said if you can Donate a few extra bucks please do so, as this will ge the ball rollin sooner.

On a sidenote if we go the dedicated route, the box and connection to it will be UBER-PREMIUM. Not that many companies guarentee 100% uptime and 0 packet loss.........
