So I installed the CS:Source beta. (Which is just CS:Source with the new dynamic weapons pricing enabled)

It sucks.


So here is what the buy screen now looks like when you first open it:


And showing differences in prices:

You'll notice that the Primary Ammo and Secondary Ammo buttons are gone from the buy menu.

When you buy a weapon, it automatically gets the ammo for you, so you don't have control over that anymore.

So, yeah, I sincerely hope that when the update is released for regular CSS, we don't use

I mean, its interesting sh*t, but i agree that it is annoying.

I doubt Shadow would want that sh*t on our servers...
Besides, we get money automatically, so it wouldnt be that much of a problem.

What I don't get about this is why the hell did they even bother? Seriously, is there NOTHING else that needs fixing? They needed a make work project so valve comes up with dynamic pricing. How incredibly idiotic.

Yeah, it needs some serious fixing.

On a side note, [devilsadvocate] this could be something. I don't quite know what, but SOMEthing. Even though DWP isn't that attractive I can't help but think that the script idea they're using for it could be used for something else in the game.


Let me explain myself.

They have a script here that works (needs some tightening and bugwork but it works). It observes what the people buy, and responds actively (by raising the price.)

What else could that be used for?

This makes the Deagle the most expensive weapon there is in CS and it's well on its way to costing $16000.
