So I go to log onto ccs to do some uber pwnage at about 11:30pm, and I get big red circles with slashes thourgh them by the server list. I don't hack, cheat, or what ever so I have no idea why i would get banned. I played in the office server today at like 6pm and went 95-43 or something like that, and there was no problem. I have only played ccs for about 4 months and don't know what I can do to get "unbanned" from steam. This may be a stupid question to some but I've never had to deal with this before and really want to get it taken care of fast so I can get back on. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

When you Right click the steam icon and goto setings, what does it say your vac status is?

? have never hacked on any boss server. Today was p90 day.

it doesn't matter what server you played on, you DID cheat at one point or another, even if you did it a month or so ago, vac knows all.

Are you sure someone didn't use your comp, and install h4x? If so your basically f*cked and need to get whoever did it to buy you another copy of CS:S Even if that is not the case, you'll find that Valve are a hard crew to impress when it comes to unbanning people.

I've had SO many differnt people on my sh*t playing,so thats most likey what happened. But basicly all I have to do is buy a new copy and sign back up?

after you make certain you removed the bullsh*t and whatnot, if u dont know where it is, format ur sh*t first.

Thanks guys. I guess it's off to the store to buy a new copy. Any hints on where to look for any remaining stuff on my computer since i dont know what was put on it?

even if you did it or or you didn't i hope you learned that vac doens't f*ck around or make mistakes (atleast ive never heard of one. In anycase i hope you are more careful next time. hope to see you back soon without your hax :)

Ok my friend got his copy from online ,he just downloaded it from steam can I just use his password and stufff to log back on and play or do i need to go buy a new "hard copy" from the strore?

You can just log on with his account, but if the cheats are still on your computer.. his account might get vac banned as well. Better to take the safe route on this one man, or else you'll be buying two copies.

I went through and got rid of everything I didn't know what it, was so hopefully I got everything. But my buddy can't use his anyway cause his comp. dosen't have a vid. card to run cc:s so he said i could just have his account.
