Not to mention Mcafee and Norton have a nasty habit of f*cking your machine up royally when uninstalled. You have to be a software engineer to get rid of them completely.

I have been using Kaspersky for a LONG time.

from personal tests, neither of them are good products, they just basically say your being f*cked with but in reality show little to no detail of it, piss poor if you ask me.

I use AdAware, which has NEVER let me down. It's free, it's fast, and it's made by Swedes. What more could you ask?

It doesn't try to fool you with that "Download free to scan but not delete" bullsh*t. It does the deletion job, and it does it RIGHT, dammit.

No, it works on viruses too.

And now you have caught my attention with this thing. I'll have to try it.

Still gonna keep AdAware though. Always good.

Kaspersky FTW!

Man ever since I dumped Norton for Kaspersky my life is so much easier. When customers bring in their sick systems, I don't have to do five friggin scans anymore. Just one scan with kaspersky and all is well. I don't sell kaspersrky to my customers though, or they would never come back with virus infected machines and fill my pockets with cash

Ad-Aware does NOT detect viruses commy, if you think it does, you should go buy a razor blade and start cutting.

Pff. Your nasty-ass comments can't deter me. I have the proof myself.

Though like I mentioned before, I will try out this Kapersky. Never hurts to have two lines of defense.

Spybot now takes care of trojans and sh*t. Spybot>Adaware, but neither is a true antivirus app. They will just help detect common trojans/keylogger/exploits and sh*t. Still need antivirus......
