John Stewart's Daily Show used to be funnier, but he's still good sometimes. Colbert is great though... he takes sarcasm to a whole new level, where you can't really tell if he's joking or being serious.

i knid of like them, you watch stewart for the democratic side and colbert for the republican side (eventhough satire is used heavily at times)

it is a good balance between comedy and news. the networks should take a hint

Love both.

Daily show is just good satire of all news stations, while Colbert makes fun of Fox News folks...

Every time I see Bill O'Reilly now, I think of Colbert...
Lol.

i wonder how many people are fooled into thinking colbert is the ultra-conservative he pretends to me, ah smart-person humor...

(btw, that wasn't a joke directed at anyone on here, no seriously!)

seriously even though he pokes fun at republicans he really gives it to some democrats. so sometimes its hard tell what his actual political beliefs are. none the less i think that is the best reporting/entertainment.

Yeah thats a good point. I'm going to be interested to see what both shows are like if a democrat gets elected president.

I think they are both liberals, Stewart definately is. Colbert goes on and on pretending to be ultra-conservative making fun of them along the way. It's like a long joke that never hits the punchline. I can't blame anyone for thinking he's a conservative, he even fools me sometimes.

And yes, I think they will be equally spiteful and sarcastic once we get a Democrat as president. Good sh*t

Yeah like mandraque said, it's a huge satire. The best thing about his shows is that he mixes them up unlike jon stewart which has become lame compared to stephen colbert. Daily show is still good though, esp compared to a lot of other tv shows.

Huge Colbert fan here. Daily Show always seems the same, Colbert is also much quicker on his feet in terms of interviews.

I love those shows! They're very funny but not to the point where they're ridiculous like some of the other shows on comedy central.

Colbert told rolling stone that he was a conservative. As far as his preference of democrats or republicans, it didn't really say. I can't really tell from his comedy either.
