Black people use it all the time, and that black kid feels offended... what a nerd. The term "nigga" means dude in ghetto language, just never say it to girls. Black people most of the time don't mind (unless they are nerds) if you say it to them (unless you are white under some circumstances). But, I personally don't say it a lot because I'm not black.

I have learned that the best way to talk with niggas is by arguing, so just call a girl a nigga and itll be a fun short time(from your point of view). Yea but i wouldnt say it to a random black person unless i mean to be derogatory, but if i know them its mostly just fukin with them.....

hehe, funny, funny, man most kids who do talk like that, that I went to school with were cool as long as you didnt say it in anger as a white person, I never really used it unless I joked around with the black kids in school, and when they said "yo kev, wats up nigga" I whould usually respond with "nigga please, I be white chocolate through and through"...
and they knew I was a dork, but never gave me a hard time, and some of those kids were actually pretty smart.
However you do have the ignorant f*cktards who seem to think that slang is good for everything, and only used by "gangstas", and they are the ones projecting the image of hostile blacks everywhere...just saying from personal experience.
