Most places up north get hot in the summer. But seriously i cant sleep down here its to hot at night, and now with hurricane session...

I find it easier to cope with the heat in Florida than in Sweden, because quite simply, AC is God. Now I don't know if Canadians use AC or not, but if you guys get into 90's you really should use it. It's better than having to sleep with your windows wide open and a noisy fan.

It's not that rustic in most places. 
My Great Grandmother in Tweed, Ontario does that, though.
She actually has trouble sleeping without the sound of the fans in the summer.
