I tired uninstalling my mods, nothing...I don't really have any advice on how to fix it, but I'll just tell you that mine updated this morning and it was working fine. It could be a conflict with a mod you have.
Well its good that you found out why it doesn't work for you.They must have finally added the anti-noob feature...

I've never had a problem with IE, I suggest you try using it, its the best browser by far.
