VLC player keeps crashing when started. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe it has something to do with the new ATI drivers?

ya i have VLC player i liked it because u can screenshot movies... when it worked, i recently got rid of it, cause all it does is crash when i open it, i dont like clutter that doesent work for sh*t on my computer. Oh, and i have Nvidia, so it has nothing to do with ATI.
