I hope those pieces of sh*t at AT&T
remember that karma is a huge, ugly b*tch,
and that whatever happens to those
dicksuckers that told them that sh*t is
going to be mother f*cking horrible. f*ck
YOU, YOU INCONSIDERATE AT&T f*ckS.
You morons saying its thier fault like it
was some kind of negligence on thier part.
What the f*ck were they supposed to do get
out the yellow pages and call super man to
stop a f*cking forest fire.... you bunch of
short bus riding mental midgets
They could totally mail them the bill, but
it's not like there's any house for it to go
to. I mean, their mailbox was on fire.

If you do not want to be responsible for the equipment, go buy your own and use it instead.
I agree the company was dick to say that they had to pay asap and before their insurance footed the bill BUT, if you sign a legal document WTF do you think is gonna happen??
Besides; that's what insurance is for. If you are too dumb to get enough insurance to cover your ass if shit happens, you deserve what's comming to you.

You sign an agreement when you sign up for their sh*t that CLEARLY STATES: "You are responsible for said equipment if it gets lost, stolen, damaged etc YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE"
If you do not want to be responsible for the equipment, go buy your own and use it instead.

they said in the interview that they do have insurance...

Yeah if my house burned down, I doubt that I would worry about a sh*tty piece of modem like the att provides.... And I definitely wouldn't pay them sh*t.
I work for the cable company and people say that all the time. I feel bad for them.
When people refuse to pay their bills because "the man had them down" or they are feeling really badass, their acount gets written off which leads to collection agencies calling them 25 times a day at all hours of the day.
Not only that but it ruins their credit, so when their lease is up on their car, they cannot get another one and are stuck driving a K-Car or a Neon.
Now explain to the collection agency that you refused to pay your bill because you missed half of an episode of Friends and see what they say.
Whose badass now??

They are trying to redeem themselves, but I think it's ironic that they said. . .
We want to help residents in Southern California in any way that we can, said Kieran Nolan, AT&T vice president and general manager, Los Angeles area. By enabling free Wi-Fi at hundreds of AT&T hot spot locations, were hoping to provide families and friends with another way to stay connected and to reconnect throughout this difficult time.
Hmm, I got an idea, forgive people's bills for the lost modems and cable boxes. Instead of giving free WiFi out to people that for most probably lost their computer to the fires....
