How do u see your FPS???

and what is like a good fps rate

I beleive that the command is 'net_graph 1' in the console. a good fps for me is around 60 or 70 outdoors (open areas) and 90 or 100 indoors (hallways etc.)

Online, where everyone lags up my fps, I get 90-120. Offline, where no one lags up my fps, its about 400-500. But 50+ is good.

anything over 40 is good. YOu wont notice much of a difference between 40 and 120

Net_graph or cl_showfps is good. I use cl_showfps because it takes up almost no room at all in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

I wish Valve would do something smart for a change and implement something simple like CTRL+R like in WoW.

I know this is posting in a old topic, but you can simply bind a key to the showfps command

in the console, type:

bindtoggle (the key you want use) "cl_showfps" then hit enter

for example:

bindtoggle ] "cl_showfps"

This would mean that pressing ] would turn it on, and pressing it again would turn it off
