Im ordered a Corsair 1 x 1GB RAM stick thing for my motherboard.
Currently i have 2 x 256MB mem sticks.(not Corsair)
I have 2 slots for the ram on my motherboard. I was wondering if i could take out one of the 256 sticks and put in the 1GB stick or if i had to take out both sticks in order to use my new 1GB stick. Im not sure if you can combine them like that or not. Help please.

Yet another reason why intel sucks. Can't identify their own chipsets, Just reboot you're pc It should be the first thing that pops up on screen, If not press f2 to enter bios cfg. You should be able to find it there... LOL"failed to identify your chipset"
