Well, a while back I installed 64bit windows and decided to uninstall it. Once I formatted my drive, I thought windows would be smart enough to recognize that the OS was no longer there. Well, its not. And everytime I startup, it goes to the screen where you can chose which OS you want to boot from. This is annoying b/c if I go to restart my computer and then take a sh*t, the default highlighted OS is the no-longer-existing 64bit windows. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?? I reset bios.

To get rid of it if its not there anymore click on run type msconfig go to the BOOT.INI tab then click check boot paths. If you dont have it anymore it'll get rid of that problem.Cause im pretty sure what lost found does not get rid of it..no offence .it only make's the one your using default.

For future reference: you got to delete the partition, create new one then format and that won't happen. I did that once too.
