So I have finally upgraded
Old System:
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (2.0ghz) (Socket 939) w/Zalman CNPS7700-AlCu @ 2.20ghz
2gb OCZ Platinum DDR @ 440mhz
PNY Nvidia 7900GT w/ Zalman VF700-Cu
Load temp on the CPU is about 49C
New System:
Abit IP35 Pro
Intel Q6600 (Quad Core, 2.4ghz) w/Zalman CNPS9700NT @ 3.0ghz
4gb GSkill DDR2-1000 @ 1002mhz 5-5-5-15
Galaxy Nvidia 8800GT
Load temp on the CPU is about 39C
I know I can push the CPU harder, and probably tighten the timings on the ram, but meh, I'm too lazy. Even Crysis doesn't even get close to maxing it. The bottleneck is the damn video card!

Very nice!
If you have new cooler on the GT, then you can overclock the the core quite a bit also (the ram on those doesn't like to be over 900, or 1800 effective)... I've never heard of Galaxy, but other retailers such as EVGA started putting a different fan on the GT's because the regular fan was pretty bad and the factory overclocked cards overheated.. I just received my 8800GT step-up card from EVGA, and it has the new bigger fan on it, so im happy...
But very nice!

Yeah the 8800GT runs quite hot, peaks at 90C, the ram on this comes factory oc'd to 2.0ghz
I'm debating about getting a Thermaltake Duorb, but unlike my 7900GT, the Nvidia stock is very quiet, so I'm not in a rush
