I like the look without the cheap door in-front of it.I will post some pics and benchmarks when done. The video card should be in by friday... but ill be posting some overclock results tomorrow.Hopefully i can get 17000 in 06 with it!!!For me this was a free step-up from my old gts and 6300 not to shabby i think.

So far everything works good!!I wish i did a little more research on the ram cause it craps out around ddr900 the old g-skill did 1000.So with a 8multi i crap out at 3.7 better ram i will hit 4.0.Hopefully i will sell this ram and get some D9's and break 17k like i wanted. Not to bad for my first run!!!!!!

I see that some of the old timers are still around, still playing. Maybe once I get my sh*t together in RL I'll probably start playing and trying to get back into the top 10 again (even if I was only ranked 10th for a day!).

NIce shit. I'll be buildin a new box pretty soon.

One question though... Why did you get a CPU with such a low clock speed? Do those Xeons overclock like a motherfucker or did you just want quad core?

Their like the opterons, sever grade, better chips, take more heat, less volts=better overclocks. When i get the ram figured out ill run 4.0 stalbe on air with 1.45 cpu volts thats insane for a quad.

That's not true. My vista score was less than 100 points slower than xp. Not even a factor.

Hmm... were you on vista64 or 32?

Edit: I just ran 3dmark06 on vista, and this time my score was only 500 points lower than the xp score (all 3 scores were ~200 points lower).. looks like nvidia wrote some better vista drivers lol.. back in the summer when i ran the benchmark in both vista and xp the scores were about 1.5k apart...

I am using 64bit it is faster than the 32bit.Also i would say xp and 64bit vista are really close like monster said maybe 100 points.Once i get this thing to 4.1.. it does it... but only have a daul core after 3.86. Funny thing is its stable only using two cores @4.1 510fsb runs 06 but only 3600 cpu score cause only two work after 3.8???Once i figure that out hopefully i will get my 17k!!!
