Because I see no post about FF at all around here (it saddens me somewhat :P) I give you some vids on FFXIII and Versus.

Personally I don't have too much hope FFXIII will be "zomg amazing" but it'll be pretty lol. I don't have much hope after FFXII tbh. FFXII disappointed me. It was fun once through but just doesn't have the replayability the FF before it have.

I disagree, FF9 was quite good. At least the main hero for a change wasn't an anti-social reject, wasn't whiney, amusing and such.. only one moment of depression in the whole game cause it rocked his world. The gameplay was solid, the story wasn't new but it was good, it was a compilation of all FF before it of sorts in its own story. Even the creator of FF said it's probably the most "Final Fantasy" of the series lol

FFX was great, the new stat boosting way changing from exp was a fresh breathe, battle system wasnt' really anything new but fun, the world and characters were well developed with good flow for their own development. Plot wasn't anything entirely new at the basics (but nothing is these days) but it was a good plot and well done. The ONLY draw back imo was the loss of the world map.

FFX-2 was well.. just bad.. the only up was the gameplay was fairly fun.

FFXI is fun but not worth a monthly fee of 15 dollars a month lol.. not for the once a week for the really big fun fights kinda thing as well as the horrible tards you can find in the game.

FFXII was fun gameplay but was a failure in story's flow. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad story per say, but it just didn't flow well and it's not fun having two useless characters.. and it bothered me that all the characters were the same basically in stats.


I'd not say they haven't been worthwhile since 8. 8 was horrible..leveling was a stupid idea cause it made things worse for you, using magic was pointless, the GFs whole "makes you forget your memory" was poorly done, the love story was poorly done because who gives a flying f*ck about ANY of those emo, socially retarded, or hyperactive moron rejects that were the main characters... 8 had very little real development for any characters in the party aside from Rinoa and Squall. Going back 40 years every so often got tidiously boring.. no.. FF8 wasn't as worthwhile as FF9 and X imo.

But I do agree, FF has been on a downward spiral since X.

you my friend have not play Xenogears :| lol. Xenogears is still, by far imo, the best game with the best characters and character development, best story, interesting battles compared to every other RPG. The other game you should try is the Gothic series :P
