Ok fellas.

two things.

1) what maps would you all like to see in deathmatch. please give DECENT map ideas by posting a link. not by scribbling on a note pad and scanning them.

2) postive feedback on what you would like to see more of in our servers.. this isnt a slam a so and so thread or ban the awp thread. were looking to make the community better.

your ideas are wanted and i think it would be good to hear something positive.

In an old server I used to play in had a program for the server that allowed you to send a message directly to an admins comp. I don't know if that would be too annoying to admins or what. It's just so people don't have to wait for an admin to deal with a hacker.

I don't mind awps in DM I just don't like that map (don't know what its called). The one where its really open and blue and everyone awps.

I think this would make every admin die of a heart attack as there seems to be a never ending supply of hackers, cheaters, spammers, and whatever. And this is just from my experience from the forum.

I would play more its just that my computer scuks and takes me years to get on the server (im just complaining about how suckish my computer is) ill try to play more

I would like to see some smaller maps like shottie added, could be fun times.

I can not view the map links since I am in study hall at school right now, but the map we should get on DM is fy_iceworld.

As for suggestions towards the servers in general, we should set sv_pure to sv_pure 0 so people with custom skins and sounds will be able to see and hear them.

For the various servers: Would it be possible to do what some other servers do, which is set a chat command assigned to the BoSS servers? For instance, if I am playing on the Office server, and I type in the chat !DM, it would join the DM server...I would type !GG for the GG server, !Dust2 for the Dust2 server, etc.

Alrighty that's all I have to suggest for now, back to work.

that was one of my fave q3 maps...although I could see it becoming really boring because everyone will just awp...

All those maps look pretty cool except the 1st one. Looks boring in my opinion, but i have never played it. So my vote goes out to all except #1

I like the q3 maps but like wonder god said, it would be ruined by awps.

Uh. No.

Only the first one looks decent. The other ones are too fucking huge. I've played the Matrix one and it is like three stories each the size of Office.
Medium size maps is what we should be looking for, say 5v5 to 10v10. That desert map supports 32v32, 18mb download...
I may get a chance to look for maps a bit later in the week, cause I really want to see the deathmatch server become popular.

meh i will pm shadow tonight with a few now that we have some opinions.

see what happens. when the server is full.. frag it mightnot be a bad idea to have a larger map.

iceworld,crackhouse and some of those others i had look decent.. their wortha try.. we can see what works and what doesnt. im sick of awp maps. they get old.......fast

ive always said it... we should have a 24/7 office extended with the same rules as our normal office server. there are only one or 2 good dedicated extended servers on the net, and i really feel it would fill up quick and become a BoSS staple like d2 and office. just my 2 cents.

I checked out one of the servers you were talking about and office extended didn't really impress me. I thought it was going to be a little more complex, and instead it made it summer time and added another garage section that doesn't actually do anything. I don't think it would be worth it to have a server JUST for office ex, maybe in a rotation.

crackhouse is one of the most badass DM maps out there. i used to play a 24/7 crackhouse DM for hours on end. great map suggestion!

i love any version of iceworld, i would def. play more DM if it was in rotation.
