So I'm selling my PS2 with a bunch of other stuff and this guy is trying to scam me. $900 for ps2 is a joke and shipping to africa? f*ck Africa. My response should be "no !@#$%^&, if you can read, it says SHIPS ONLY TO CONTINENTAL STATES OF THE U.S."

Don't know if it was the same seller but I had someone trying to "buy" my PS2 with the same "my son's in Africa" story

for all you know its legit, I sold my 9800 XT on ebay for 550 to a guy in Italy (when the x800 XT's were the same price).

Yea, but people CAN scam you. But I would take the offer, Ebay over sees the transactions themselves and sue anyone who tries to scam. So I wouldn't worry too much.

Italy, i wouldnt hold much of a concern for, aside from the peoples aparently stupidity, but Africa?...theres a f*cked up target. Theres a whole lot of scams comin outa nigeria in perticular involving fraudulent postal money orders...but given that its paypal, you might be good to go.

...and who the hell goes to study in Africa anyways? "I wanna get aids while im playin on my new PS2!"

Do they not have ps2's where this guy is from, he said his sons in africa not him, why doesent he just buy it and send it to him(bullsh*t too busy for his terrific son) and if he is making so much money to pay for a 900$ ps2 why cant he just pay someone to go buy it and send it for him?, and if his son is studing in africa, he must be old enought to know that the ps3 is out, why is the ps2 his favorite..
