nice, i been thinking about getting back into high end gameing, and i need to build a new rig. I was looking into that evga superclocked 9600 myself. How do you like it? And how is the stock cooling fan? Lastly is your system running good on just the 600watt PSU?

Looks nice dude, congrats on the new rig.

Kinda cheaped out on the graphics card a lil IMO. If thats all you had for your budget thats okay and all; but you defly should have looked at this as well

GDDR4 vs GDDR3
775mhz clock vs 675
320steam processing units vs 64

Nah, the 9600GT and the 3870 are pretty much identical, with the 3870 being a bit better with a difference of 3-4 fps, but in some games like UT3 and Crysis, the 9600GT pulls ahead by ~10-15 fps...

The stats of the cards aren't everything, if they were, ATI should have been wiping the floor with nvidia from the 2900 series, but as we all know, they haven't...
