The server rankings should be reset monthly. There is too much stacking esp from admins... a monthly reset would curb this....

I think 3 months is a good amount of time and then we reset them.

Inactive players get their ranks removed after 11-14 days iirc...

Actually I think it would be the opposite. They would stack more often knowing they only have a month to get a high rank. After its cleared, they will do it again. Leaving it the same gives them a chance to play on the losing team without taking such a rank hit so they would be more inclined.


In all honesty, we should be switching the team stackers or people who always play T, admin or not.

Because its stupid how we have it setup... I think if ranks were reset periodically you would have people like cinci, soulwind, blizzard (for example).... and there are many more that immediately stack the team because they are trying to get a 200+ kill increase per session so they can jump the guy whose been playing for awhile longer... therefore if you did it on a periodic basis, they may actually want to play against eachother so they can ruin the others session record....

Why does ranking even have an impact on what team people play on? I'm in the top 20 and I play CT 19 games out of 20. Your team shouldn't have anything to do with how well you play and if it does you deserve to go down in the ranks.

Oh...and why do people care about their ranks so much? :/
