Hey yall,

i was just wondering if anyone has used Geekbench for any kind of benchmarking? I know 3D Mark is out there but im not entirely interested in graphics.

I was just wondering if other people could see what kind of numbers they get from it. Or know if it is actually a good benchmarking program. I would also like to stay away from any sort of benchmark that uses flash.

Just ran it an scored 79xx in the 32bit version. It seems with the 64bit version (costs money) I would jump up to 97xx.

Does anyone else have any benchmarks I can try? Anything with flash and I will do horrible.

i scored 1544.

intel celeron d 3.06ghz, 3gig ddr2, gforce7900GSKO.

i really need to do some work to find good deals on new parts. i am posting a thread right now about my pc overhaul.

This one was my girlfreinds pc, I just got her a basic setup.

Amd 64x2 4400 ( only 2.3ghz )
2 gigs of ram
Radeon x1650 512mb

Does anyone have any other non flash testing benchmarks?

This one is primarily CPU/Memory/IO etc..
