Well, since everyone loves football so much, I'm making a thread especially for the Euro Cup which is in about a week.

Group C scares me. I bolded the teams that I think will make it to the knockouts.

It's cool that I'll actually be able watch it this time; now that I've moved out of the U.S.

Group C will be fuckin' fierce. Poor Romania are going to get rawked. Group D will be pretty cutthroat as well, I'm hoping Sweden will make it to the knockouts. I sure don't hope Group C and D will meet in the first knockouts, cause that might be the end of the tournament for us.

Sorry to say this guys but sweden will struggle against russia for that runner up spot, russia have a brutal attacking squad.

I'm afraid you're right. Although we'll have Zlatan and a few other salty attackers, so we should be able to hold our own on the scoreboard. But our squad this time is not like the glory days past, similar to England's situation.

I'm partial to Italy....Mostly just cuz i'm Italian. Altho I don't follow Euro b/c we generally can only catch the highlights here, I have a friend who loves to keep everyone updated on soccer lol.

Sweden 2 - 0 Greece

Both the goals were instant classics. Zlatan's for it's brilliant accuracy and Peter's for it's brutish willpower!
I'm definately stoked about Sweden - Spain... It's going to be a cutthroat match. Unfortunately I think our defenders are too slow for the Spaniards and they'll lose us the match. The hard part is over though, I think. Even with a loss against spain we should make it out of the group with a tie against Russia.
