Yes, but remember this is the Pacific theater. No-one else has ever done this right; hell, even Medal of Honor ballsed it up horribly.

cod4 was perfect...i love ww2 based games but 95% of war games are based in ww2 era. it just gets old. cod needs to do a vietnam or a desert storm

i was thinkin that...BUT! what most people dont know is that 90% of the war was fought in trenches. So if there was a game based on ww1, you would spend the entire game in a trench...or digging new trenches

They would NEVER make a Vietnam game for the simple fact that we (the good guys) lost. If we had been victorious, there would be a sh*tload of Vietnam based games out there.

That's why there are so many WW2 games. Nobody wants to play for a side they know is destined to lose.

WW1 games will always be RTS or TBS games Zeke. I'd hate to play a game where my main function in the game is to prevent trench foot.

I admit that it would be pretty cool to take part in some face to face trench warfare, maybe just portray major battles in which lines were broken, but otherwise it's a long shot.

I can't wait for CoD5 though. Anything that reenacts Pacific theater warfare is an A+ in my book.
