i had to put my dog down today that i've known since i was 5 years old. ruined my whole f*ckin day

I'll be in the same boat soon. I've had this cat since I was 5, got him maybe a month after he was born, is now 13, 20lbs., and is losing his eyesight and randomly shaking. I know how ya feel man D:

Been a bad year for everybody it seems. My dog that I've had since I was 5 as well passed on 10 days before my birthday. She was sick and I was going to take her to the vet the next morning, and I woke at 3am to a bad smell, to find my dog dead, in a puddle of vomit at the foot of my bed. So I know how it feels.

My parents felt the need to replace the old dog 2 weeks later, and now I'm stuck with this ADD 10month old mutt that chews on everything and claws on my face and barks at me if I sleep past 5:30am.
