DOOM 3 is the single greatest game ever made. the gameplay is amazing, the graphics are amazing,everything about it is amazing. i dont think i will ever play a game as good as this. everyone should get this game now. it is utterly amazing DOOM 3 RULES!!!!!!!!

Slightly dissappointing game. WAAAAAAAAAY too linear, decent plot at best. Even the sound was a little weak. Great graphics, but that's about it.

i'll second that riel and doom 3 is nothing but a rushed let down esspecially on the xbox cuz on the pc the thing that kept me from buying it was the mother f*cking lighting ya it was superb in a bad way u cant go anywhere without a flashlight so i thought on the xbox they wud fix the only problem but know so burn in hell makers of doom3

I liked Doom 3. I enjoyed the whole game and I've been a doom fan for a long time. Some people said it was too simple or too linear. Well..........

It's DOOM!!! What did you expect? It's no rainbow 6 or anything.

I hoped this game would be good.. It really let me down. i agree with Massacre that the 'lighting' sucked.. you really had to use the flashlight wherever you went. And it so damn repetative that I never played through all of it.. Doom & Doom 2 rocked but this game sucked.

Nintendo used to be cool, WTF HAPPENED?!?! The N64 was the BEST, but almost everything after that; the gamecube and the DS, just sucked ass.

I played both Doom 3 and the expansion RoE, and they are good games but certainly not the best. I enjoyed it, because i'm a long time fan of doom series. But on Doom 3 what seriously f##k's it up, is the weak enemy AI. The enemies will rush you mindlessly, instead of playing it smart and taking cover. Like the enemies in FarCry (much better game in IMO) Although i can't picture an IMP taking cover but at least the other chaingunner zombie/commando & Z-sec zombies. Which in the end messes up the game, makes it no fun to play single player. Nice to play once, but gets old quick. In any case the multiplayer, helps in the replay value. (not that much though.)

lol i did have all the consoles at one point bought a gcube a couple months ago and sold my xbox not very long ago and im gunna keep my gcube i like the way nintendo is starting to go with re4 and the new zelda game (im comparing that to the old sh*tty one) so if gcube grows up and its balls start to drop i will keep it but if not........

Back on topic, Doom is great. Hail Doom!

One of the things i didn't like about doom 3 however, was that the chaingun brain, the baron of hell, the invisible demon, and the pain elemental (was he in there? I don't remember) were missing and that the Cyberdemon was the final boss. It would seem like the john-romero/carmack (whoever) head-on-a-stick-skull-spewing doom 2 boss would be better :)
