[S.W.A.T. 2.0]

All 3 BoSS servers were running much slower than every other server I saw tonight. Usually the server ping is about 30 when I play on it, but the listed server ping was at over 250 for all 3 servers (while others were much lower). Did M-E Tech do something to the servers today that would have slown them down??

It looks fixed now, but I thought I'd give you a heads up.

its faster then the majority of servers, thats all i know, maybe some datacenter lag, but thats out of our hands.... we use a 66 tickrate on all the servers to make it utilise the bandwidth more... but I doubt that should cause conciderable lag, m-e-tech does not control the CPU power of the servers and there is not much to be handled through them about it.... Allthough its probably just net bugs...

Every server I've played on today has had the same problem.. I have never seen such a strange phenomena in CS.. It's like half of all players get 250+ pings. And they seem to be targeted by Steam too, because I haven't had any problems at all. In fact my ping has been lower than usual today. Very strange... That problem is everywhere, but yesterday we had some major lag on #1. I only played on that server so I don't know if the same problem was elsewhere, it was like major warping and stuff.. Shadow did some tricks that helped it somewhat, but I have no clue what the problem was, pings were normal but we still had major warping lag. Might have been M-E-Tech or Steam, I dunno.. The problems might even be related.

Ya, it was weird. It looks normal now, but in the server list it had the three BoSS servers each at about 250 ping and every other server was running at about 30 or so (of the 7 or so in my fav's list...I only play on the others when no one is in the BoSS servers). Now the BoSS servers are back to about 30 or so as well.

Actually I know some clans that use servers that are located in VA and TX. The VA ones were the ones causing such high pings, but the TX one was running fine. Maybe it is something with VA? They are not M-E-Tech by the way, so I doubt it was them.

suprisingly, i almost wasnt laggin yesterday!! i was so happy that i could acctually have a 2 to 1 ratio after a week of humiliation... However, i didnt lag AS MUCH on other servers, but there was definitely lag everywhere.

I was playing on a server in Atlanta that day, they were having the same problems... But they were probably playing White House vs. Al Queda too

It might have to do with the update that Valve did to include sourceTV into the coding..just a hunch..

Yah the lagg was so bad that everyone was disapearing and apearing on number 1 last night. By the time you could see them to shoot them they were behind u
