Well you need to remember this is stuff that is bought on the black market. Rather than keep it stockpiled, they destroy it so it doesnt fall into the wrong hands. When the soviet union collapsed a f*ckton of munitions, small arms, vehicles, etc. were bought up by arms dealers and they sell it to terrorists and etc. The US and other NATO countries have no use for this outdated sh*t, so they just blow it up.
