edit: although it doesn't seem to work... download just stops after a while saying it's completed, but the file's only ~100 megs, and corrupted.

The real gem here is the 64 bit version.
Btw at the advice of Shadow I suggest you use Virtual Box to test it out instead of vmware. I tried the 32 bit version our in VBox and it works quite well.

How do you know whether you can run 32 bit, or 64 bit and what new did things did they add is it like vista or what?
It depends if your processor supports 64-bit instruction sets. If you have any AMD made within the last 6 years or so it should be and any Intel Core2 will as well. Either way you can just run the 32-bit if you're not sure, it won't hurt you.
Windows 7 is the epitome of what an operating system should be. It is the best operating system Microsoft has released since Windows XP. It has speed and efficiency of XP combined with the improved UI and stability of Vista. It is what Windows Vista should have been and what Windows XP couldn't have been.

Follow the link to find out how to get a key if you have problems with the regular way. I got like 3 keys for 32bit, and 3 for 64bit

Thanks once again for linkage. I've got me a couple of 32 and 64 bit keys as well. Didn't realize that the official public beta .iso was the same thing that leaked two weeks ago. Guess I'll just torrent that thing then.

holy premature ejaculation batman...wait for some serious testing and usage (not to mention release) before you can even begin to say things like that
with that being said, it is definitely snappier than a fresh vista install, even on the virtual machine I have it on. I haven't tried anything major on it, but i'd like to see some benchmark tests etc
it has potential
Edit- spelling and such

Oh and all you Vista haters will notice that on those tests it does exactly the same if not better than Windows XP.
