i ve noticed since i ve gotten a few skins that the guns r more or less better like the shotty and deagle shoot faster and for some reason they seem more accurate like the bullpup skin i got this may just be like getting a new car kinda thing and you wanna drive the sh*t out of it i dont know but it kicks ass



and all so do skins effect ping at all just wondering cuz my ping licks balls wanted to c if i can fix it that way

Uhh, it's literally impossible for the skins to increase you firing speed/accuracy or reload speed. It may increase the speed of the animations, but if it does the gun will not fire until the alloted amount of time has passed (the "default" reload speed). These timings are set by the game and you cannot change them, no model will. The "skins" are just an image file (like a JPEG) that is wrapped around the existing model.

Skins won't affect your ping either. The BoSS server has been really laggy lately, no clue why. One thing they can affect is your FPS, which will decrease because there are ALOT more polygons on screen (sometimes one model can contain 5000 or more polygons, and if there's 20 people in the game using that model then your computer is having do draw an extra 100,000 polygons every frame, which can be VERY taxing on a computer)

So no, skins are not hax at all, they are just eye candy.

if u get a bright yellow player skin it cud be considered as a hack because easier to see in dark

They used to make some that glow, don't know if they have em on Source though. I've always gotten the skin/models that look the best. Guess I'm a nerd

there used to be a really old aimbot that was sort of like that but it was very sh*tty (and for the record i read about it but never used it)

If you were a T, and you but the CT team's skin on bright red or yellow. You would be able to see them easier, thus making you kill them more effectivly in places where normal skins would blend in with the environment. Would this be considered a hack because there skin is working toward your advantage?

technically no thats y the name of the topic is un1337 hax. skins arnt considered hax in any way. my post about the old aimbot was the skin wud change to like red for t and blue for ct and when the color came in veiw the crosshair wud auto lock on to it. but this was sh*tty cuz it cud easilly lock onto someones foot and ppl wud hav sprays of just red and blue so ur crosshair wud get stuck on it.


also another "skin hack" is where the skins wud glow somewat so u can see then in the dark easily but no one makes these anymore

I have to say, since I got a new model + sounds for the M4, the silencer sound makes it seem like I could go full auto with it and have it be like a no-recoil hack. Needless to say, I was wrong .
