Alright, today was the last time my TomTom fell when the suction cup let go from my windshield.

Have had it for almost 5 years now, time for something new. So those of you that own a tomtom, garmin, etc. speak up now. Looking for feedback.

Not really caring of features etc. I just want it to work, and most importantly, NOT FALL FROM MY WINDSHIELD!!!! Even a dashboard mounted one would work the best, but would like some first hand reviews of the ones you own.

Would need this info by next week as I will be doing a business trip down to Oaklahoma for a business development meeting(snooze)

Thanks in advance! :D

I lost a Garmin when it fell from the windshield.

I dont know exactly what model it is, but i have a TomTom that suctions to the windshield. The suction cup is strong, so the thing will never fall off.
I think that it was around $150 when I got it at best buy.
If you need a GPS take a look at Best Buy, they have a pretty good selection on display.

Just buy one of those locking suction cup bases. They make them for most brands, I'll see if I can dig up the one I bought a while back.

f*ck it, found a bunch. Just look it up for whatever model you have. I bought it for my dad's tom tom like 2 years ago for Father's Day, f*cker still won't budge.

The tom tom's have better night driving screens. The garmins are in blacks and greys.

I <3 my Garmin. That thing has never let me down lol (including never falling off the windshield haha).
Also, I've never really used a tom tom, so I can't really say much about it. -My two cents.

I myself have a garmin unit, its the el-cheapo one at like 150 bucks when I got it new last nov, its very user friendly and the locking suction cup/ base kit it came with is outstanding.
only thing I did not like about mine was I bought it before the updated maps came out, and its about 70 bucks for the updated maps.....regular system updates for the gps are free though.
