Very good movie, but I don't want to ruin the plot so you can google and ruin it for yourself or just go see it. If you like sci fi and/or action movies you will like this one. Very cool plot, characters, twists, action scenes, and effects.

it was awesome aside from the reference to apartheid. They're a couple shorts from the director that preceded district 9. Check'em out.

I liked this movie a lot, and I think the actor who played the main character was cast perfectly. Pretty amazing to me they could make everything look so real on such a relativity small budget.

I liked certain aspects of the movie but the brutal death scenes make the entire thing worth it.

Which was surprising since this was his very first time acting, he is normally a casting agent...

lol district 6 anyone? set in south africa? agree with jack, great movie aside from apartheid reference. lulz at the advertising campaign that included buying billboards on the side of canadian buildings with "humans only" and a big no aliens symbol.
